The Paula Red is great for snacking.
The Paula Red apple is named after the wife of the original Orchard owner. This apple is good for eating and baking. It is better as a snacking apple earlier in the season when it has it’s crisp bite.

The skin has a base of yellowish green but is completely covered in a beautiful matte red blushing and striping.

The flesh is ivory, firm and crisp at the beginning of the season, it softens at the end of the season. The Paula Red apple has a bright balanced sweet to tart ratio with subtle fruity notes included.
